Junior Medical Society Centre Supervisor
The Medical Society Clinic Supervisor is responsible for supervising assigned staff to ensure providers have adequate, well-trained clinical support at all times and patients have access to the best care possible. Roles and Responsibilities 1) Supervise assigned staff, orientation, training, coaching, and skills development, completion of annual individual learning conversations, retention, and discipline. 2) Work collaboratively with Medical Director, Medical Centre Manager, and Human Resources to provide appropriate and timely follow-up on staff issues 3) Assist Clinic Manager in strategic planning, budget projections, productivity analysis, and other business-related initiatives 4) Ensure appropriate daily staffing and coordinate changes in staff schedules. Maintain time management and time off requests for assigned staff members. 5) Work with Medical Director, Medical Centre Manager and General Manager in terms of updating, creating and reviewing policies and procedures for Medical Society. 6) Conduct daily meetings with all staff. 7) Oversee Clinic training/education with assistance of the Medical Society General Manager as well as the Career Development Consultant. Qualifications and Experience 1) Matric Essential 2) National Diploma in Health Care Administration or related field preferred. 3) Pharmaceutical background will be an advantage. 4) Minimum 2-3 years’ solid years of medical office experience in a supervisory or lead role. 5) Must be able to use Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. 6) Must be mature and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. 7) Must be honest, hardworking and humble. 8) Practice Management experience will be advantageous.
