Our team is expanding and we are looking for a junior – middle weight DTP operator with print operation and design skills!

We are looking for a capable, creative and hard-working all-rounder to join our team – middle weight designer/DTP Operator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a wide range of print and digital skills from a busy, dynamic and growing company.

The applicant is required to take a variety of projects from concept stage to finished product. This is a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate must be able to multitask, and have excellent time and project management skills.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of Variable data repro and pre-press. Experience in Digital printing processes.
• Able to interpret a brief from a client
• Basic to medium design work
• Create print-ready art for a wide variety of print projects (digital and litho) mostly with variable data component 

Programmes: 

• CorelDRAW, Bar-tender and excel
• MUST have knowledge of variable data application from excel into CorelDRAW & Bar-tender.
• Have knowledge of using digital printing machines (Xerox Versant 180, Mimaki CJV30-130)
• Must be able to get work print-ready (layout, image editing, retouching and print merge)
• PC Based
• There will be a requirement for overtime
• Knowledge of litho printing & Corporate gifting would be advantageous.
