Job description

You will be responsible for the entire business unit spanning sales, distribution, promotions, admin, supply chain, finance, and HR.

You will oversee the sales force, drivers and admin teams in your region.

Duties and responsibilities:

• End-to-end inventory management.
• Plan routes for the sales force and ensures that they execute to plan.
• Schedule daily trade visits.
• Prepare daily reports for the executive management team.
• Prepare forecasts for inventory, resources, and sales targets.
• Create channel management plans specific to the region.
• Plan and execute promotional events.
• Develop new channels.
• Actively seek out new customers for the retail channel.
• All HR and IR management.
• Sign up new reps and sub-distributors.
• Perform on the job training for subordinates.
• Fleet management – vehicle allocation, maintenance, fuel management.
• Will be accountable for the daily sales cash up with sub-distributors and reps.

Requirements

Candidates must have experience managing large teams and exposure to the informal and formal markets. Candidate will oversee the sales force, drivers, and admin teams. 

Suitable candidates must have the following skills: 

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products
• Excellent training and coaching skills
• Ability to lead large teams and coordinate efforts to achieve the business goals
• Willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done
• Lead by example and instill the values and a winning culture into the workforce
• Analytical skills to optimize business performance

Suitable candidates should be willing to work weekends/public holidays and be willing to travel across the region and to other regions across the country when required.
