A leading educational institution is seeking a dedicated, confident and organised Junior Student Advisor to join their team.

Open position : Junior Student Advisor
Location : Port Elizabeth
Salary : Market related
Reporting to : Vice Principal
Essential : Drivers licence and own transport

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria :
– National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Public Relations / Business / Marketing or Communications
– At least 2 years sales experience would be a great advantage
– Strong sales / marketing background
– Excellent communication an public speaking skills
– Target driven and proactive
– Takes initiative
– Computer literate
– Flexible in being able to work inconvenient hours should the need arise

Duties :
– Create brand awareness and distribute marketing material in new areas
– Educate opinion leaders
– Facilitate presentations at schools
– Distribute interest cards
– Market the brand to parents through cold calling
– Represent brand at career expos
– Facilitate stakeholder events
– Formulate and implement plans

Recruitment duties include :
– Make follow up calls to students and organise interviews
– Respond to queries online and telephonically
– Provide advice to students on the courses they are interested in and explain the institutions entrance criteria
