Weylandts is looking for a junior stylist with a passion for interior decor and design to join our dynamic marketing team. Creative flair, originality and strong visual sense, as well as a keen interest in keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry, is essential.

You will work on a huge variety of products and activities such as designing/ layout of signage, concepts, visual store directors, labels & product packaging, guidelines/ instructions for stores, installations, exhibitions and displays (for in-store requirements, web collections, VM and social media).

Main responsibilities:

• Styling of photo shoots
• Styling and design of images for VM when required
• Styling and design for web collections
• Pre-Production of lifestyle shoots
• Styling and design of images for social media
• Sole responsibility for quality posts on Pinterest
• Assist colleagues with styling when needed
• Ad-hoc styling and design when briefed, by marketing, purchasing and merchandising.

Skills required:

• A three to four-year degree/diploma in visual communication/graphic design is pre-requisite as well as excellent technical knowledge of Adobe Suite design software.
• A minimum two to three years of graphic design/styling experience.
• Photoshop
• InDesign
• Below the line and branding experience.
• Home and décor brand experience will be a plus, but not limited to it.

The job holder must be able to demonstrate positive hands-on, can-do attitude. He or she must be able to work independently, yet be a team player. They must be positive, energetic, a self-starter and have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Being able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and producing a high quality of work is pre-requisite.
