The successful candidate must have the following (experience/skills/ qualifications/competencies): Grade 12 .
Minimum 1 year experience Code of Conduct
GMP’s
Operating laundry equipment (washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing, sowing & stitching)
Cleaning & sanitation
Policies and Procedures. Responsibilities: Perform Laundry Duties as per Work Instructions
Maintain PPE to Set Standards (sowing & stitching)
Issuing of PPE as per requirements of each department.
Completing of necessary documentation
Washing and hygienic maintenance of PPE
Cleaning of work areas (laundry, staff facilities, offices, storage cupboards)
Continuous cleaning of laundry (area must be kept neat and tidy at all times.
No personal items, cleaning equipment, cleaning chemicals, crockery & cutlery may lay around)
Weekly Stock take on PPE and chemicals.
Handle chemical Stock- on- Hand and issuing of stock (to factory)
Filling in of Documentation for Record Keeping
Efficient monitoring of water & detergent usage
Basic Maintenance of machinery (e.g. removing lint from dryers)
To minimize (or eliminate) the risk of inventory losses (by wastage) – regular stock taking
Maintain Cleaning/Hygiene of Laundry, Canteen & Ablutions with cleaner
Rubbish bins must be emptied at least 3 times a day or when overflowing. Non – response within 2 weeks indicates an unsuccessful application. All applications are kept on our database for future suitable positions. admin@corerec.co.za
