Join one of South Africa’s leading retail giants as part of the HR team as their HR lead analyst.
Responsibilities
- Create valuable data-based insights, predictions and recommendations for the business
- Understand how analytics play a part of the companies business model
- Create analytical outputs whilst working together with other data analysts, data scientists and researchers
- Oversee all testing and implementation of analytical outputs
- Identify statistical insights to improve business performance
- Identify how insights can be used within the business to improve business performance
- Understand business best practices
- Lead all business engagement with stakeholders
- Lead the analytics team in developing the analytic strategy
- Identify technology trends and adapt the business accordingly
Requirements
- Relevant degree in related field (HR, analytics, insights etc)
- Extensive experience within a similar role specifically in retail or FMCG
- Five years experience or knowledge within insights
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail/ FMCG space
- Knowledge of HR business principles and practices
- Know how to create an analytic strategy from statistical insights
- Five years data analysis using SQL or other tech tools
- SDLC knowledge
- Statistical knowledge using SAS, UNICA or R
