Job description
An opportunity has become available in our Learning & Development Team for an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Facilitator who will develop, implement and facilitate learning initiatives in accordance with the Learning & Development team’s strategy and in adherence to the Cape Union Mart Group standards and culture. This position is available in the Northern Region (Gauteng Regional Office).
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in overseeing the end to end process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate core programmes, including Leadership development programmes at various levels
- Apply blended learning principles
- Conduct learning needs analysis
- Effectively and efficiently plan, coordinate and communicate learning initiatives
- Design, develop and update learning material in line with business needs
- Network with business partners at the necessary levels
- Monitor the impact and effectiveness of the learning initiatives through feedback reports
- Travel to various geographical regions within Southern Africa for facilitation as per needs
- Where required, apply Project Management principles for the effective roll-out of various programmes and adhoc projects
- As required, must be able to support Supplier Hikes by guiding a group of team members on a structured outdoor experience
- Complete required administration and coordination responsibilities aligned with learning offering and programmes
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment
- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification
- An understanding of Adult Learning Principles
- Experience in Leadership Development content design and facilitation
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- A valid driver’s license – for travel purposes
- Strong product knowledge of Cape Union Mart products advantageous
