Requirements:

• Matric
• BCom Logistics or similar
• Work well in a high pressure and fast paced environment
• Must be able to do shift work
• Confident with excellent communication skills
• Good analytical skills

Duties:

• Own and drive schedule reliability
• Manage port productivity, bunker optimisation and cost reduction
• Execute and manage berth planning
• Manage schedule recoveries ensuring to deliver industry leading schedule reliability
• Coordinate and drive contingencies with other teams
• Drive and enforce contract compliance and performance management
• Develop, monitor, improve and benchmark operations processes through process confirmations
• Drive down operational costs
• Align daily operations execution to the company’s overall operational strategies
• Work with network design and commercial teams to provide efficient and reliable products for customers
• Manage emergency situations, incidents and contingency plans, ensuring network integrity and stability

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
