A Randburg based, JSE listed, employer of choice in the SA market is seeking a machine learning engineer/data scientist skilled in Python, Spark, Databricks, and AWS or Azure for an initial 12-months fixed term contract.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science/information technology or similar
• Proven experience in a machine learning/data science-focused role
• Mathematics/statistics background
• Excellent knowledge of statistical modelling
• Intermediate to expert levels of technical proficiency with tools/technologies such as:
• • Azure/AWS
  • Databricks
  • Python
  • Spark
  • SciKit Learn
