A vacancy exists at our Head Office located in Centurion for a Marketing Specialist that will be responsible for the Marketing function and support to NAKO Group and its subsidiaries. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the day to day marketing activities and be adhering to the long-term marketing strategy of the company.

Job Specification

Contributing to the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan and ensuring the successful implementation thereof.

Effective promotion and showcasing of the brand on various platforms, including but not limited to:

• Print marketing material for all subsidiaries
• Social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
• Company and Industry related events: Communicate the event information to subsidiaries, secure sponsorship opportunities and manage attendance of the relevant subsidiary employees. Ensure effective company promotion and branding at these events
• As brand custodian, take overall responsibility for brand management and Corporate Identity across the group
• Liaise with the PR agency regarding the company marketing plans for the year and provide the appropriate information for the successful execution of all initiatives

Ensure all internal communication adhere to business requirements and the marketing plan:

• Internal Newsletter: adhere to the dates as set in the marketing plan and calendar
• Company Brochures and presentations: provide relevant information to the Design Agency to ensure effective communication of the service offering
• Email Campaigns: liaise with the business and the Design Agency to ensure the flow of relevant information regarding specific projects and topics of interest
• Assist with market research including market trends, sales trends and competitor analysis

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Communications or any related field
• Certificate from Professional body will be an advantage
• Exposure in either Property, Mining or Infrastructure Industry
• Eight years’ experience in corporate marketing
• Social media experience
• Print media experience
• Events management experience
• Experience in marketing campaign execution and tracking
• Experience in market research

Specialist Knowledge required:

• Excellent written and communication skills
• Must have excellent knowledge of marketing principles and practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
