A boutique creative agency specialisng in the hospitality industry is looking to employ a designer who passionate, fresh, creative and deadline driven. A strong passion for luxury, lifestyle and travel is essential. Our ideal candidate will have a broad portfolio and will have a wide range of experience from designing flyers, to social media posts to full-page international adverts. We require our team members to make things pretty and appreciate aesthetics, engage and get excited about each and every brief and be hardworking, knowledgeable, professional, proactive, organised, efficient, punctual and disciplined. The candidate will also have between three and five years’ experience in agency environment live in or near the city and have their own transport.

Responsibilities

• Work and partner with internal stakeholders to bring the voice of our brands to life across on all jobs
• Collaborate with partners to create sales driven collateral
• Complete projects in a timely manner while prioritizing multiple projects across multiple titles at uncompromising quality and creativity
• Support strategic and creative ways of bringing a story to life through design
• Extreme attention to detail
• Understand how design, copy and photography are part of the same customer experience
• An understanding of ecommerce and user experience within the digital space.
• Ability to design collateral with a broad range of styles and quickly adapt to the brands ID.
• Highly motivated with the capability to meet extremely tight deadlines while multi-tasking and managing a high volume of projects.
• Assist with graphic design across all formats (brand, digital, print, outdoor, press, POS, event, etc.)
• Responsible for originating creative digital graphic designs and concepts that support client briefs
• Generate and create crafted, visually pleasing and highly conceptual designs under pressure and at a fast paced
• Full design knowledge, strong technical skills, great application knowledge
• Get excited and excite others about creating beautiful and functional, thought-provoking designs

Requirements

• Maintain digital studio standards and conventions
• Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Proficient in Mac operating software and MS Office applications like Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent design skills across a variety of disciplines with great typographic abilities
