We are a British video ’boutique’ production company, Piehole.TV, and we work on world class brands with clients mainly in the US and in California / Silicon Valley in particular. We are based in Somerset East in the Karoo where we have started the Karoo’s first ‘tech hub’ – Silikoon Vlei! (small town, not small time!).

Ideal candidates will be strong with design, creative and fun to work with. 

At Piehole.TV you’ll be working with a team of animators and producers to make short films and explainer videos for a variety of overseas brands. Each brief and client are different so there’s lots of room for growth and flexing your creative muscle.

Requirements

• Able to create animation ready characters and graphic elements in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Good understanding of design principles such as typography, space, colour composition (and a portfolio/reel that demonstrates this)
• After Effects motion graphics and character animation experience.
• Compositing and colour correcting live action footage in After Effects
• Knowledge of After Effects rigging tools (DUIK, Rubberhose, etc.)
• A good visual storyteller
• Demonstrable ability to create moodboards, style frames and storyboards in a wide variety of styles

Advantages

• Premiere Pro editing and colour grading skills
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D or any other 3D program
• A mean backhand on the ping-pong table
