VirtualComms, a well-established company is looking for a network engineer to join their team in the Kosh area (Klerksdorp/Orkney/Stilfontein/Hartebeesfontein).

The applicant must be dynamic and able to execute orders.

Requirements

Requirements: (Not limited)

• At least two years of network setup and maintenance related experience
• A good understanding of TCP/UDP protocol and subnet masking
• A good understanding of VLAN setup and topography
• A good understanding of VOIP, SIP trunks, Tunnelling, Bridging and Switching
• A good understanding of Windows Server and Linux
• A good understanding of Mikrotik, Ubiquiti and Cisco products will be an added advantage
• Strong IT background with strong planning skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be well organized with attention to detail
• Work well under pressure and good time management skills
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must be able to work alone and together with a team
• Must have the ability to use own initiative
• Must have a valid driver’s license
