A Legal company that is part of a group focused on helping people defend and enforce their rights, is looking for a Network Security Specialist who will be responsible for the development and modification of the network infrastructure, fixing, improving, planning, implementing and overseeing the networks and systems that support the in-house technology.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Five+ years’ experience in Network Security and / or Systems Engineer   
• Degree in Computer Science or Similar
• Fluent in SQL
• Hands-on experience with SAN storage, HP equipment, Sophos, Mikrotik, Riverbed networking Products, network monitoring tools (like Solar Winds) as well as experience with Telephony
• Own transport and valid drivers

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, emergency intervention and restoration of systems, and escalating all aspects of the IT infrastructure systems
• Ensure Databases / Systems Availability at all times
• Database Security and Authorization
• Develop and maintain a database backup strategy. Maintain Data Integrity
• Planning, designing and implementing data connectivity for local area network and wide area network systems (LAN / WAN / VLAN management)
• Samsung and/or Asterisk PABX Support
• Support and Monitoring of Telephone, VoIP, SMS and e-mail systems
• Management of Active directory
