Job description
Our client specialises in supplying everything your office would need including: office supplies, office furniture, groceries, printing and corporate gifts, clothing and alcohol.
Our client is looking for a new business development representative to do pure outbound sales and on boarding of new clients. The successful candidate must be a self starter who is looking to grow the clients brand.
Role responsibilities
- Generating leads, cold calling, in-person visits and presentations to prospective customers.
- Signing on new clients.
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with prospective customers.
- Maintaining and expanding sales and personal targets.
- Reporting to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and overall performance.
Requirements
General high-level requirements
- One to five years’ work experience in an outbound sales environment (customer visits)
- One to five years’ experience in external furniture sales environment
- Proven track record of sales
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office – PowerPoint, Word and Excel
