- Of the 305 new Covid-19-related deaths, 136 are from Gauteng.

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced on Friday that another 305 people have died of Covid-19, while there have been 7 292 new infections.
The death toll is now at 9 909, while the number of confirmed cases has risen to 545 476.
Recoveries are at 394 759.
Of the 305 new deaths, 57 died in the Eastern Cape, in Gauteng 136, 76 from KwaZulu-Natal, 29 from the Western Cape and seven from the Northern Cape.
Mkhize said 3 183 658 tests have been conducted so far, with 33 851 since the last report.
