Our client is a digital marketing company and one of the largest lead generation firms in South Africa.  They use a range of digital channels to improve sales and optimize their clients’ ROI (return on investment). They strongly believe in the ethos that any digital marketing initiative taken needs to be highly measurable and results driven, thus enabling their clients to successfully measure their return on investment. All their digital marketing campaigns are 100% trackable, making it possible to measure and account for every cent spent.

Our client is looking for a young highly energetic, problem solving, system and process orientated person to join their team.

Role Responsibilities:

• The operations analyst is a key member of the operations team supporting data management, financial reporting, process design & optimisation, and system issue resolution.
• This person will work closely with all internal client and supplier facing teams, as well as non-customer facing development and design teams to ensure integrity of the business systems.
• Identify issues / defects in business and operational processes, and fix these through the implementation of improved/optimised workflows, business procedures, and other recommend changes.
• Ensure new data brought into the business is received, checked and stored as applicable.
• Perform daily checks on failed leads and repost where necessary
• Assist with consolidation and distribution of reports on an ad hoc basis.

• Design and documentation of project artefacts, business requirements and processes.
• Assist with system solution design, user testing, and obtaining business sign-off.
• Ensure comprehensive user testing is performed on all projects implemented within operations.
• Ensure implementation support within operations from both a business and systems perspective.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc Industrial Engineering preferred. Willing to look at BSc in Engineering, Maths/Stats, or any other technology related field
• Min 1 year work experience within an operations environment looking at analysis of business processes and/or reporting/analytics
• Ability to map out and document processes and systems
• Must be able to read code.
• Excel (MUST be good at Pivots, macros, vlookups, hlookups, etc.) advantageous.
• Relational database scripting and querying experience a must (university or work) advantageous.
• Ability to code in any language would be advantageous
