Job description
The role of the Operations Assistant is to assist the operations team, in coordinating project activities, facilities, logistics and suppliers. Further to project related duties, the incumbent will be required to provide administrative support and report to the Operations Team Leader. Must be willing to work irregular hours as and when this is required.
Note: A three-month probationary period applies with the option to become permanent thereafter.

Requirements
- Proven administration experience (three to five years)
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects from concept to conclusion
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Advance Microsoft Office Suite
- Tertiary qualification (certificate, diploma, degree etc.)
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to work as a team member in an open plan office environment
Desirables:
- Advantageous to have experience with Hiretrack NX
- Working experience within the technical events industry
- Technical equipment knowledge across all disciplines (av, sound, lighting, staging, etc.)
- Experience in working with and interpreting designs and technical drawings
