Operations Controller (Port Elizabeth)
Leading staffing company based in Port Elizabeth is seeking the skills and experience of an Operations Controller to manage up to 400 employees on different sites in the allocated area.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• Computer literate (MS Office – Word and Excel)
• Valid Driver’s license AND PDP (Essential)
• Own transport and cell phone
• 3 years’ experience in any of the following industries: labour broking, recruitment, warehousing, distribution services, transport operations, production processes, manufacturing, FMCG trade
• 3 years’ experience with incident and accident investigations
• 3 years’ Health and Safety experience (advantageous)
• Proven ability to manage at least 400 employees and manage company assets i.e. vehicles, uniforms
• Proven experience in the implementation of company labour related policies
• Good knowledge of the labour law

Job responsibilities:

• Manage approximately up to 400 employees on different sites at any one time
• Time sheet calculation, preparation, etc.
• Manage company assets i.e. vehicles, uniforms
• Servicing of existing clients
• Supervision of reportees
• Weekly / Monthly Reports
• Fleet Management
• Client and Placed Staff support
• Implementation of company labour related policies
• Recognise training requirements
• Any other duties required from time to time
• Attending to IOD’s (injury on duty)
