We are looking for an experienced and creative PowerPoint presentation specialist to join our team as a presentation specialist. Presentation specialists are, first and foremost, business communicators. The Presentation specialist will work with the marketing and business team to take text and make it memorable. His/her graphic design skills focus on sharing an idea or a product concept with a crowd. The candidate must be a creative genius with an eye for page layout that makes a slide accessible across a packed conference room.

The presentation specialist can design with PowerPoint in their sleep. He/she must know all the latest Microsoft products but are early adopters of the latest software trends. Internet-savvy but people-friendly, he/she must be as comfortable with a marketing team as he/she is with any digital device.

PowerPoint presentation specialists are great collaborators, working with the business to take a concept and turn it into a visual masterpiece. The successful candidate must be deadline driven, organised and understand how people view and understand the content.

Responsibilities:

• Design influencer marketing campaign strategy presentations, campaign reports, pitch decks, etc.
• Create original graphic content for slides for a wide variety of audiences
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems
• Work with additional freelance presentation specialists to manage workloads and workflow for large-scale productions as needed
• Design marketing materials such as print collateral and websites as needed
• Provide quality assurance of all deliverables

Requirements

• Four years’ education, two+ years’ design
• Strong presentation design portfolio demonstrating expert level in PowerPoint including use of multiple masters, colour themes, animations, actions and video
• Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both digital and print media
• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
• Understanding of the strengths and limitations of presentation technology including aspect ratios, projectors, sound, and video equipment
• Understanding of image formats, resolution and size
• Keynote experience a big plus, but not required
• Video experience a plus, but not required
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite
• Well-developed communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding
• English first language, any other language an asset
• Must love dogs (dog-friendly office)
• Team player. Colleagues are work family, not competition
• Ability to get a founder’s mentality, mandatory
