An award-winning, national PR agency is looking for a Mid-Senior Account Director at its Cape Town offices. The successful candidate will oversee a small team and manage a portfolio of a variety of consumer and corporate clients. To scoop up the role of Account Director at this well-established PR agency you must have previous PR agency experience.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

• Minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in a PR agency – essential
• Experience with local and international consumer and corporate brands with an understanding of business trends in the industries to which he/she consults
• Strategic thinker with creative abilities to develop innovative client strategies, PR plans and leading a team on execution
• Understands integration and ability to work collaboratively with other internal business units to produce integrated 360 campaign concepts
• Excellent media relations and contacts in order to develop and guide media relation strategies
• Stakeholder management and engagement skills
• Project management and multi-tasking expertise
• Exceptional language and writing skills
• Responsible for overall development of strategies, PR collateral, and programs based on team input
• Has established a circle of industry editorial, investment community, professional and/or third-party group contacts
• Anticipates and develops solutions to client needs and problems
• Provides strong leadership in building effective, productive account teams.
