Job description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for driving internal and external customer satisfaction through quality assurance processes and procedures.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role

• Planning, organising and efficient handling of administrative duties
• Develop and apply Quality Assurance (QA) processes in all practical and administrative aspects
• Continuously assess and refine QA processes to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assess and develop product in-line with Homechoice standards and requirements
• Develop product that is fit for purpose and meets the customer’s expectation
• Build and manage vendor relationships to ensure positive outcomes
• Coach and guide vendors to ensure compliance to all Homechoice requirements
• Measure vendor performance and apply performance management when required
• Effective communication with all role-players across departments as well as vendors
• Accurate record keeping
• Effective data interpretation to facilitate reporting on trends
• Accurate reporting on relevant metrics
• Positivity, willingness to learn and a strong ability to focus on the job at hand is key
• Flexibility and willingness to adjust and grow with the role
• Building effective and mutually beneficial relationships with internal departments

A little about who you are

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Textile Technology, clothing management, fashion or similar tertiary education
• Experience in a Textile Technologist role or similar would be advantageous
• At least two years’ experience in a retail merchandise environment
• Strong administrative skills and proactively approach processes
• Natural affinity towards Quality
• Well-developed communication skills and professional email etiquette
• Ability to focus on detail and work towards strict deadlines 
• Competent and professional language skills (English)
• Demonstrate initiative and manage time and workload independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
