• Oversee and ensure smooth running of the Formation production departments
• Manage employees in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Train and develop employees to ensure that skills and knowledge meet production requirements
• Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with Technical and Quality specifications
• Control expenses in the department. Provide and formulate information for annual budgets
• Participate in problem solving with Technical and Human Resources
• Ensure the achievement of daily production Targets
• Ensure that production is in accordance with the Company Quality standards, Work Instructions and specifications
• Ensure that Absenteeism and Time-keeping are kept within the Company norm on a daily basis and take appropriate action where necessary
• Ensure that Health and Safety rules as well as housekeeping requirements are adhered to by all employees at all times
• Constantly measure employee performance and give assistance where necessary
• Ensure that the Mini-Business area is kept up to date and reflects the team’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Minimum requirements

• Matric 
• Mechanical Engineering or Production qualification
• 5 Years Production experience in a Supervisory role 
• Automotive experience essential
