Job description
Scope:
To produce and implement campaign concepts through sourcing and managing suppliers in order to execute campaigns seamlessly. The job incumbent is expected to assist the Senior Production Executive along with other production staff, the Accounts team and the Creative team in order to ensure that campaigns are produced to the highest standard.
The Production Manager is expected to manage and “take ownership” for multiple campaigns and activations through the effective management of the production team.
Purpose:
Manage the production element of a brief from concept to execution, utilizing and managing an internal team and the supplier database.
Key performance areas:
Administration
- Adhere to company processes in order to complete administration tasks
- These may include but are not limited to:
- Managing mini budget
- Checking mail
- Keeping timesheets up to date
- Creating & managing timeline
- Maintaining a supplier database
- Monitoring team performance
- Maintaining project status
Supplier Management
- Manage suppliers thorough verbal & written communication in order to execute to brief requirements
- Manage all resources & staff by troubleshooting and problem-solving prior to consulting your department head. This management includes but is not limited to:
- Briefing suppliers
- Selecting suppliers
- Ensuring effective briefing, cost procurement, prototyping/sample
- Managing live campaigns
- Sourcing & Advising on new suppliers
Managing Staff
- From time to time the production Manager will be responsible to manage a junior. Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Address remedial and skills development areas with the operations director
- Coach and train staff juniors so that they are up to speed with the “Stretch way of operating”
- Delegate effectively and institute feedback and follow-up mechanisms
Execution
- Execute campaigns from brief to live event implementation through assessing and generating solutions to campaign challenge. Examples:
- Understanding brief
- Finding creative solutions
- Assessing output quality
- Providing innovative ideas and solutions
- Managing delivery within required deadlines
Evaluation
- Evaluate all elements of final event execution against KPI’s by conducting thorough post campaign analysis examples
- Completing post event report
- Providing supplier evaluations (references)
- Reconciling budget spend
- Producing debrief document with results, including implementable key learning’s and recommendations for improving the Stretch offering
Requirements
Technical knowledge
The job incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent budgeting skills
- Project management experience
- Preferable: knowledge in sketch up or 3D drawings (CAD)

The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills & abilities:
