Requirements:

• Senior Lecturer: Masters’ degree in Pharmacy (preferably Pharmacology) or equivalent preferably with progress being made towards a PhD PLUS Experience: Usually seven to 10 years of teaching experience; OR seven to 10 years of professional experience in a health or medicines-related field 
• Associate Professor: PhD, PharmD, other equivalent Pharmacy Specialty PLUS Experience: Usually 10 to 12 years teaching experience; OR 10 to 12 years of professional experience in a health or medicines-related field 
• Professor: PhD, PharmD, other equivalent Pharmacy Speciality PLUS Experience: usually 12 to 20 years teaching experience; OR 12 to 20 years of professional experience in a health or medicines-related field; AND/OR has had a recognised impact on public health (in South Africa or internationally) such as pharmaco-epidemiology, pharmacy/ medical/ health professions education, or policy issues.

• Senior Lecturer: Cost to company approximately: R 679,055
• Associate Professor: Cost to company approximately: R 802,254
• Professor: Cost to company approximately: R 937,650
