Reporting to the Fuse programme management office the Project Manager for Platform Implementations will coordinate and direct the activities of the Implementation team to ensure we deliver a platform implementation that realises the customer’s vision and specifications including any integrations and customisations.
Working with customers
You will be a key contact for our customers throughout the Implementation project from initiation to launch. You’ll educate them on our processes and ways of working, establish collaborative communities and connect them with key resources, unblock problems and get the answers they need. You’ll keep them updated on progress regularly and ensure they provide us with everything we need to deliver on time.
Coordinating the implementation team
Working closely with the head of implementation you’ll plan the activities of the solutions architects and user interface designers directly. You’ll also interface with other business functions including product, development and customer success and support to ensure an excellent customer experience during the implementation phase.
Managing the project portfolio
- You will own and maintain the project plans for all current implementation projects. You will ensure actual effort is accurately recorded against the project plans and manage all exceptions, updating plans as necessary.
- You’ll work with the sales and operational teams to identify new project requirements and be able to advise them on resource availability and indicative timescales.
- You will create project plans, trackers, reports, registers and logs as necessary to maintain project control and provide all stakeholders with visibility on progress, risks and budgets.
- You will run daily scrum calls with the Implementation team to review the project portfolio and ensure we’re tracking accurately against planned activity, identifying and resolving conflicts and communicating slippage and risks.
