Overall Mission of Position:

• Quotation, offer comparisons, price negotiations for local and foreign purchasing activities
• Independent negotiation as well as other commercial agreements, etc. for local purchasing activities
• Market observation and analysis, to derive price developments and to identify new suppliers from locally
• Analyzes, bundling, standardization, total cost of ownership ,cost break down, value analysis, etc. and realisation of cost reduction potentials
• Stronger local sourcing information
• Local non-standard facilities purchasing commodity purchasing from local
• Local raw material, EPP, fleece, smaller injection parts
• Normal products purchasing from local vendors
• Maintenance supplier from local like tool shop
• Coordinate work with group for related potential purchasing activities
• For bigger project material, tooling, equipment and sourcing what these will be purchased out of South Africa
• Support group team member for RFQ, price negotiation, LTA, logistic and PO releasing

Position Specific Requirements:

• Purchasing activities and logistic background (customs clearance)

Job Specific Skills:

• At least 3 years Automotive components purchasing experience
• Automotive industry knowledge
• Competent in MS office
• Application of ERP system
• Knowledge of SAP in an advantage
• Import process especially custom clearance
• Positive, honest and quickly feedback
