Systems and Process compliance

• Assist Quality Manager in maintaining an integrated Quality Management System
• Assist in performing audits of the systems, processes and products on site to a defined audit schedule
• Assist in continually monitoring the adherence to optimum process settings and controls, targeting continual improvement

Risk Management

• Co-ordinate action teams and improvement programmes to continually improve on identified risks as well as create and/or update risk management related documentation (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.)
• Assist in ensuring that Quality standards are maintained at all times, including customer specific requirements

Information Management

• Co-ordinate data collection, analysis of data trends and focus areas for improvement drives
• Co-ordinate circulation of data and management reports to share information on focus areas and needs for improvement
• Assist with 8D investigations on 0km OEM failures, active participation during OEM audits, external system audits as well as monitoring of outstanding improvement notifications derived

Management of quality at source

• Assist to continually improve upon the effective use of quality tools available to assist with improvement drives on the shopfloor, at source
• Assist with supplier 8D investigations and DMR’s

Customer relations

• Assist in maintaining relationships with both Customers and Suppliers. Assist in attending to Customer queries and resolution thereof

Minimum requirements:

• A Matric Certificate
• Diploma in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical / Industrial or Operations Management)
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and VDA6.5
• Qualification in VDA6.3 Process Audit and ISO 9001, IATF 16949 1st & 2nd Party Auditor will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of SPC, process and machine capability (Cp, Cpk, Cm & Cmk)
• Sound knowledge & previous experience in injection molding will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of Quality Core Tools
• Sound knowledge of Measurement System Analysis
• 3 years related experience in a Quality Department within an IATF 16949 certified Company
• Knowledge of Quality Systems and ability to work independently and attention to detail.
