Quality Manager (aa)
- Responsible for Quality at site
- Ensure all policy, procedure and work instructions (ISO 9001 & IATF16949) relevant to the Quality Management System are adhered to
- Ensure effective management of subordinates
- Update policy / procedures as and when necessary
- Ensure all aspects of the quality function are managed and maintained in accordance with national and international standards
- Inform/liaise with suppliers and customers related to all quality issues
- Interaction with all OEM’s
- Report on all warranty and customer complaints
- Preparing of the QMS for all 3rd party audits
- Monthly/Weekly quality Reports. Defining of Key Process Indicators relating to Quality and ensuring that these are monitored/maintained and where negative trends are seen the necessary actions to rectify & maintain are implemented
- Responsible for supplier development – must be a certified VDA 6.3 & IATF 16949 1st & 2nd party Auditor
- Assist with 8D investigations on 0Km OEM failures, active participation during OEM audits as well as monitoring of outstanding improvement notifications derived therefrom
- Conduct and review risk assessments
- Manage capabilities, feasibility and improvement studies
- Establish and maintain quality department budget
