Top Label manufacturing company is looking for an experienced and capable Quality Manager to first and foremost monitoring quality of label production using SPC methods, whilst overseeing an established SHEQ system. The successful candidate will be responsible for (amongst other responsibilities):

• Quality management of label production using Statistical process Control (SPC) (Main function of the role)
• Assisting with all related IT issues
• Overseeing company compliance and auditing of the SHEQ systems
• Overseeing auditing of suppliers and sub-contractors
• ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015,  and OHSAS 18001:2007/ISO 45001
• Overseeing Health and Safety policy requirements
• Environmental risk assessments
• Quality control

Requirements

• Matric
• Must have experience from a Label/Packaging manufacturing/Gravure environment, or from the beverages sector with relevant Quality Management experience
• Formal Quality management qualification
• Previous experience in Statistical Process Control methods
• Strong IT skills and knowledge
• Previous experience in SHEQ or HSSE field
• ISO or similar certification
• Previous experience overseeing Health and Safety training
• In-depth knowledge of the OHS and Safety Acts
• Audit and risk assessment experience
• Own transport and valid license
