Job description

The post requires the marketing and management of media relations for the marketing management and implementation of a retail portfolio in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga.

A brief outline of the scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

 Maintaining the brand image of the portfolio (currently Phola Mall and Kwagga Mall)

• Building and maintaining relationships with tenants, local community and media
• To implement and manage all promotional activities at the mall
• Allocate and manage yearly promotional budgets
• Tenant coordination and customer service
• Monthly reporting and feedback as required by management and shareholders
• Weekend/public holiday working hours

Requirements

Based on the above, the applicant must have the following education and skills:

1. Excellent contacts within the local community
2. Outgoing, excellent people and communication skills
3. Proficient in English – written and spoken
4. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mails, etc.)
5. Two to five years’ experience in a marketing related position, retail experience an added benefit
6. Driver’s license
7. Local to the area would be advantageous
