Regional Sales Manager
The appointed person will have exposure to all aspects of the business from supply chain of imports and domestic operations, through to exposure to technical detail in addition to financial and commercial elements of running an operation. Regional Sales Manager Basic R40 000 (depending on qualifications and experience) plus car allowance, medical, provident fund, 13 thcheque Kwazulu-Natal (Pinetown) Qualifications: Qualification Grade 12 A Degree in Manufacturing, Commercial, Supply Chain or Sales. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment Meet sales and operational metrics and KPI’s as budgeted and targeted Ensure that the customer’s requirements concerning quality, service and price are met Create and maintain strong business relationships with customers as allocated Provide detailed sales forecasts on a monthly and annual basis. Manage allocated accounts to ensure debtor’s targets are met Assess, understand and feedback on market trends in order to help shape the long-term strategy of the business Conduct Contract Reviews in cases of new customers, new products or new service providers Present product and other training to customers and internal personnel as required. Drive new marketing initiatives to promote new products as launched Experience/Skills Requirements: 3 years in managing a team 5 years in sales, operations and marketing in a b2b environment The position would suit a person who has the following skills and experience: At least 3 years’ experience managing a team, preferably in a manufacturing environment Good negotiating and presentation skills Operational knowledge and experience in creating and managing a safe and profitable workplace, while ensuring compliance with legal & corporate processes & meeting customer service requirements A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, operations and marketing in a B2B environment Sound knowledge of marketing and promotion of products of a technical nature Knowledge of the flat glass industry would be advantageous Account processing and debtors management knowledge with some practical experience Computer literate, strong spreadsheet skills and ideally with exposure and experience operating in a large corporate IT infrastructure
