Duties:
- Managing the diabetic wound healing research group;
- Conducting research which encompasses epidemiological-, in vivo and in vitro cellular studies on the aetiology of impaired diabetic wound healing, with investigations being centred on how and why stem cells become dysfunctional.
Requirements:
- A PhD in Physiology, Molecular- or Cellular Biology;
- Experience in endocrinology research, patient studies, as well as expertise in stem cell culture and flow cytometry;
- A proven track record in generating external funding for research;
- Record of student supervision supported by a strong publication record.
