DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Operations

• Analysing Monthly Performance
• Day-to-Day Operations
• Payments Recon
• Daily Shop opening and closing
• Reporting to Owner or Nominee

Human Resources

• Manage Staff Relationships
• Advise on Recruitment and selection of staff
• Authorise leave and Maintenance of relevant records
• Ensure staff employment contracts are up to date, signed and in a safe place
• Appraisals
• Training
• Managing weekly staff meetings
• Ensuring Staff Reporting

Suppliers

• Manage Supplier Relationships
• Managing and Negotiating agreements and best prices.
• Pricelists are up to date

Sales & Marketing

• Assisting sales personnel with sales targets
• Assist with adverts, campaigns and marketing
• Developing of new designs
• Identifying new suppliers

Financial

• Assist with purchasing of new stock
• Arrange & assist with stock take
• Weekly supplier payments
• Monthly Recon
• Managing Debtors and Creditors relationships
• Identifying and Managing Cost Savings
• Managing Budgets
• Day to Day expenses
• Authorising staff expenses

Customers

• Manage customer relationships

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Retail Management experience is essential!
• Ability to work Retail hours and weekends
• Interior décor experience is preferable, but not essential

Salary: R10,000 CTC Monthly
