Job description

Our growing IDM risk and analytics team is looking for a risk analyst to join us. This individual will work closely with the rest of the fun and exciting analytics team, and take guidance from senior management. We are looking for the following traits in the ideal individual.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify risk gaps for systems and processes within the business and develop relevant reporting to address the risk
• Refine and improve existing risk reporting metrics/content/method
• Review risk reports and conduct qualitative investigation on high risk items
• Work closely with the Analytics Team to for report development and optimisation and identify new metrics to for risk reporting
• Act as escalation contact for all serious risk associated matters within the business
• Conduct weekly meetings with all areas of business, discussing in detail all high risk items with senior members of each respective team. Highlight issues that have not been investigated to a satisfactory level, and follow up on those items on a regular basis until resolved.
• Share reporting and presentations with Senior Management proactively. This will include weekly and monthly trends and create overall risk rating to accurately reflect the business risk at any given time.

Involvement with various projects across the business including but not limited to:

• Roll out of new processes and systems across the business
• Roll out of new products across the business
• Identification of business process weaknesses and implementation of improvement
• New ventures

Requirements

• Operational or financial risk background preferred
• Experience in all areas of business is not essential, but advantageous
• Familiar with operational systems used within the business
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure
• Being adaptable to changing circumstances
• Able to manage difficult discussions with Team Leaders and Senior Consultants from all areas of the business
