Our client, a major player in the logistics industry are looking for the services of a risk/incident analyst.

They are offering a salary in the region of R20, 000 CTC per month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in conducting and maintaining risk and security solutions on site and analysing the solutions that will be viable options and beneficial to the site.

He/she will also be responsible to assist in conducting investigations into loss/claims/damage/theft operational issues, where required, record and maintain all adhoc emergency security costs for periods such as strike action/criminal investigations, conduct research relating to physical security solutions together with the risk and loss manager, inform operational management regarding security weaknesses and propose solutions/procedures for handling, storing and safekeeping, vehicles on site speed and yard control management, introduce a security sweep of all locations in groceries and perishables and report findings to inventory and operations for claiming costs from labour brokers

Skills and experience:

• BCOM logistics or degree in operational research OR degree in industrial engineering
• Experience within the distribution logistics sector
• Report writing and communications at senior level
• SAP knowledge essential
