Grade 12, COMSOC 1 and 2, National Certificate in Health and Safety Management, Valid Engineering Trade Certificate***, A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in industry specific to engineering, plant and/or underground mining structures, functions and responsibilities; Experience performing internal workshop / site inspections and participating in HSE management system audits – please indicate on CV, Emergency preparedness and response management knowledge and experience in the mining or construction sector – please
indicate on CV; Knowledge of industry and related legislation and standards, Computer Literate – MS Office Suite, Valid Drivers’ License.
*** Candidates holding a QCTO (Section 26D) Trade Test, where the learning route is not specified on the Certificate, must submit the following: Statement of results issued by an accredited MQA trade test centre as well as evidence of training conducted at a technical
training centre (e.g. Portfolio of Evidence, Logbooks). Should these documents not be submitted, the application will not be considered. Candidates holding S28 Trade Test certificates from non-Mining Sector centres will not be considered.
