An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, sales driven, individual to join our sales team in the position of sales executive, based at our Lanseria Office.

Working within a dynamic team, your key focus will be to achieve monthly sales targets, in line with a specific portfolio of clients. Being a true business hunter, you will be driven, motivated and have the ability to meet set targets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will possess several years’ experience in a similar role together with:

• Thorough knowledge of the market in which Abundant Media operates, together with experience in selling to media agencies and client direct
• A proven track record of meeting sales targets
• An ability to successfully identify key client needs and opportunities, and then to conceptualize and coordinate the delivery of a media solution
• The drive and initiative to seek out and bring new accounts to Abundant Media, delivering high growth opportunities
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills together with sound selling and presentation skills
• A qualification in media planning is advantageous
• Existing relationships within JHB based media agencies is preferred
• Understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Understanding of the South African radio landscape with a focus on community radio
