Key Responsibilities:

• Create and provide quotations
• Handover technical information to the Design team
• Draw and develop concept drawings e.g. Plant Layouts, Process and Instrument diagrams as part of sales proposals and in assistance to project design
• Marketing and market development – identifying new clients and industries, assisting with marketing related activities / trade shows / events
• Co-ordinating sales projects
• Creating sales data base for costing (Estimating tools)
• Support the procurement and planning function through the preparation and submission of project schedules
• Installation – Assisting with projects, as well as project timelines / tracking

Pre-requisites:

• Work with the Design and Sales team to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end-goal of sales in mind
• Demonstrate an understanding of what the customer will need in terms of ongoing service and managing expectations on the customer and sales side
• A critical thinker who can suggest improvements that might lead to cost saving and / or other client benefits
• Sales Environment experience would be advantageous
• Matric certificate (Maths core / Maths HG)
• Minimum National Diploma (S4) in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Strong MS Office Skills 
• Attention to detail
• Valid drivers licence
• Own transport
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
