Job description
Mail Blaze is looking for a driven and passionate sales manager/director of partnerships. The candidate must be extremely organised, communicate well, have an excellent track recording in sales, and have at least two years’ experience in sales. Experience in building strong business relationships is a must and cold calling is a requirement. The ability to cross-sell, negotiate and close a deal will be the key to your success.
Purpose
The candidate will be responsible for driving new business to the organisation, generating (cold calling) and following up on leads, and managing client relationships. The candidate will also be expected to represent the company at industry related events. The candidate will report directly to and work closely with Lima Bean’s/Mail Blaze’s Directors
Immediate roles and responsibilities
- Dealing with a wide range of enquiries and providing optimum digital solutions for customer requirements telephonically and face to face
- Sell creative media and integrated content campaigns to top industry brands
- Establishing new business
- Managing quality of deliverables
- Following up on, and generating leads (cold calling)
- Maximising revenue by cross and up-selling
- Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
- Accurately track and forecast sales using an analytical approach
- Handle industry related meetings and marketing events – from planning to execution

Minimum skills, qualifications and experience:
Essential
- Minimum two years’ experience in a sales position
- Relevant diploma or degree
- A sound track record in sales
Preferable
- Experience in a similar role in the digital industry
- Previous exposure or experience in digital marketing, digital media, digital or online advertising, SEO, email marketing solutions
