We are looking for an energetic, sales, marketing & relationship manager who is fluent in both English and Dutch, to help us take our company to the next level.

Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd was established in 2012 and has grown into an all-round marketing agency, specialized in Dutch concepts introducing into the South African hospitality and tourism industry. Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd has a startup-culture that is very dynamic, result driven and is always seeking new opportunities and partnerships for Label Orange brands.

The brand portfolio where Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd is fully responsible for:

• Restaurant Week South Africa (biggest culinary event in South Africa) – Dutch concept, launched in 2012 in South Africa (Cape Town/Johannesburg/Durban/Pretoria/The Winelands).
• The Winery (Online Guide to the South African Wineries) launched in June 2017 – developed for tourists and locals to explore the South African Winelands.
• Book “Cool Cape Town” launched in October 2018 – Dutch Travel Guide for Dutch tourists with more than 180 tips about city life and surroundings in Cape Town.

Job description:

Daily activities range from concept development and marketing strategies, finding the right partners to work within South Africa and in the Netherlands (PR, marketing, sales and relationship management) and building a community around the brands (online marketing and events).

Duties and responsibilities:                  

• The job is a mix of visiting clients in South Africa and in the Netherlands, processing orders and admin (back-end related operations), acquisition and enthusing partners and restaurants for Restaurant Week South Africa.
• Responsible for marketing and pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Must be an intermediary between DiningCity NL (HQ and back-end office for restaurant Week) and Label Orange Agency (Pty.) Ltd., organiser of the Restaurant Week South Africa.
• Must be strategic, creative and commercial and is aware of the latest market developments and trends.
• Must have a large relevant network in the Netherlands and South Africa and knows exactly which parties we need in the field of partnerships and potential clients.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Understand “The Dutch Approach”
• Have completed a business and/or sales study (university-level education)
• Have +- five years of experience in sales management and business development
• Have proven experience with CRM and e-commerce
• Be an expert in business development and the upmarket food and hospitality Industry
• Be an expert in cold-calling, cold-canvassing and closing business deals
• Must have experience with branding, content marketing, PR, partnerships, e-commerce, online marketing and sales.
