CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
|
To provide professional secretarial and administrative services to the University Clinic on the Missionvale Campus to the management and team so that the required standards of knowledge are upheld
To assist with, and be involved in, Community Development for the Ukhanyo Clinic at the Missionvale Campus in Port Elizabeth.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
|
- Perform general secretarial and office management tasks
- Interact with students and members of the public, clients and customers daily by assisting them with problems and referring them to the appropriate and relevant professional
- Execution of financial transactions such as the preparation, capturing, submission and following up of Clinic accounts
- Communicate and liaise with Medical Aid providers
- Assist with and provide secretarial support to management and team with the development of academic leadership and learning
- Provide secretarial support to facilitate the professional development of students in professional training programmes
- Assist with and provide support for Community Engagement

- Demonstrated financial administration skills
- Possess strong office administration skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Have comfortably English conversational skills and in one other official language
- Have an in-depth knowledge of discipline-specific national and/or international professional societies and councils associated with Psychology
- Very good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with team members

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
|
Education
Matric + 1 year diploma qualification in Public Relations/ Communication/ Administration
Experience
Minimum of three years’ work-related experience in a similar position.
