We have a super opportunity for a proactive, hands-on senior account executive at a great full-service, advertising, branding and design agency in Cape Town. We’re looking for someone who is able to manage multiple accounts with aplomb. You’ll be joining a focused and dedicated team of individuals, who pride themselves in delivering a personalised service to their clients as well as tailored strategic concepts, designs and brand solutions. Responsibilities

• Write clear, comprehensive briefs
• Manage client budgets and billing requirements, as well as time-keeping per job
• Manage a variety of small and large cross-industry clients (+/-70+ jobs/briefs per month)
• Juggle multiple projects, all at different points in their respective development cycle
• Spot opportunities and up-sell
• Be the go-to-person for the client for any/all project/brief update
• Identify which part of the business should work on the given brief
• Manage the client’s budget & billing with exceptional accuracy
• Manage the projects within the company
• Identify opportunities
• Be available to the client when required (within business hours & reason)
• Deliver projects on time, or alternatively, manage client effectively around this
• Prioritise often clashing/urgent projects
• Understand the bigger picture when that often means motivating people who only deliver on short term briefs
• Source quotes from third-party suppliers and manage output

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Relevant degree/Diploma
• Advertising agency experience – essential – preferably a design agency
• Interpersonal skills

• Competitive/market knowledge

• Presentation ability
• Working knowledge of Adobe® Creative Suite and MS Office
• Trouble-shooting skills
• Research skills
• The skill to manage a broad/diverse range of work to meet the needs of our clients
• A proven track record managing both small and large clients
