Duties:

• Lead developer on all Android apps.
• Write unit and functional rests.
• Suggest time estimates and plan technical work from brief business requirements, without details specs.

Requirements:

Experience/skills –

• A minimum of four years of Android experience.
• Published at least one app on the Play Store yourself.
• JSON APIs.
• Familiar with modern version control tools such as Git.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Detailed Understanding of:
  • Activity, Fragment, Service and View lifecycles.
  • Multithreading in Java.

Advantageous –

• Realm Mobile Database.
• Popular third-party Android Libraries: Retrofit, Gson, ButterKnife, JodaTime, RxJava, EventBus, etc.
• Recording and writing Espresso UI Tests.
• Interest in Kotlin.
