Superb opportunity to join an exciting tech business in the e-commerce/FMCG space. In a dynamic, fast-paced Microsoft driven environment, you’ll take charge of developing, deploying and maintaining BI solutions.

The business is currently in the process of building a brand spanking new Data Warehouse, you would be actively involved in the design and development process. Offices are based near Jhb CBD, but there’s loads of flexibility around working from home given the current climate.

Ideally, you’re an end-to-end MSBI specialist with a relevant tertiary qualification and five+ years’ experience under your belt in delivering robust BI systems, interactive reports/dashboards and data warehousing solutions. Background in FMCG or e-commerce environments considered non-essential but highly advantageous.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in IT/computer science/information systems/informatics/mathematics or similar
• Five+ years’ experience in business intelligence development roles

Must be well-versed in:

• Developing reports/dashboards using Power BI and SSRS
• ETL development using SSIS/integration services
• SSAS/analysis services
• Data modelling/tabular and multi-dimensional modelling
• DAX/MDX
• SQL/T-SQL scripting, creating stored procedures, views, functions etc.
• SQL Server
• Microsoft Azure (or similar cloud/serverless systems)
