Environment:

A dynamic innovative foodie platform seeks the expertise of a highly ambitious senior C# developer team lead to take charge of their tech department and help grow this unique online business. You will be involved with high-level decisions taken and use your wealth of knowledge and experience to ensure the department is always at the forefront of cutting edge tech. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/computer engineering or similar, have a minimum of three years’ software development experience and your tech stack must include: C#, REST, Git, MVC5/Core.

Duties:

• Design, develop and modify modules based on functional and system requirements.
• High-level decision making and strategy on the long-term growth of the business’s online platform.
• Developing APIs for devices and other services to connect with.
• Participate in the testing process through unit tests and bug fixes.
• Participate and contribute in daily scrum meetings as well as sprint planning sessions
• Generate and maintain technical documentation.
• Continuous short-term development and adding of features to the system in accordance to the development road map.
• Provide technical support and assistance to the support staff and/or liaise with clients as and when it becomes necessary.
• Manage a team of developers and grow the technology department.

Requirements

Qualifications –

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline; or, equivalent demonstrable experience.

Experience/skills –

• Three to five years of experience as a software developer.
• Previous experience developing with and using any or all of the following is essential: C#, REST, Git, MVC 5 MVC Core.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• NodeJS
• ReactJS
• Building REST API’s
