Join a cutting-edge eHealth company in Westlake seeking the expertise of a Senior Data Analyst who will work on complex health data sets and optimise ETL processes. The ideal candidate should possess a relevant tertiary qualification, have experience in a similar role, understand relational databases and data mapping, SQL, have knowledge of GIS and hotspot mapping. Any statistical modelling, quantitative research methods and trend analysis experience will prove hugely beneficial. Please note this is a one-year Contract with the option to renew.
Duties:
- Work with representatives from Departments of Health and other organisations, such as the National Health Laboratory Services, and other university, parastatals, NGOs and funder partners.
- Work with large and often complex health data sets and analyse data elements and health indicators.
- Clean dirty data and optimise ETL processes.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- A strong background in Data Analysis.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data analysis and data mapping.
- Some knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and hotspot mapping.
- Statistical modelling, quantitative research methods and trend analysis experience will be hugely beneficial.
- Database programming in SQL.
- Experience with web technologies and APIs, and in particular DHIS2 will count favourably.
