The in-house agency of a renowned financial services company is on the hunt for a senior through-the-line copywriter. We’re looking for a real all-rounder with below and above-the-line experience including direct Marketing experience. In this super role, your focus will be on creating compelling Marketing material that drives customer response and builds the brand while meeting the varied needs of a large and well-established financial services business. The ideal candidate has the ability to think conceptually and is someone who passionate about writing copy that sells.

Responsibilities

• Participate in concept development that will resonate with the target market and translate these into content across all channels
• Develop enticing copy solutions for direct mail campaigns, print, radio, TV, Outdoor, Social Media and Digital
• Collaborate with designers to roll out concepts and copy to all channels
• Ensure a consistent brand tone is maintained across all platforms
• Participate in briefings, debriefings and presentation
• Contribute to workflow and process improvements

Requirements The successful candidate must have/be:

• Degree or diploma in copywriting, English and/or communication
• Six+ years of copywriting experience in an ad agency or in-house agency environment
• Proven creative thinking and writing skills through a portfolio of work
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the different copy and content requirements for various pieces of collateral – both long-form and short
• Integrated experience (Digital, Below-the-Line, Direct Mail, ATL)
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Literacy in Microsoft Office
• Calm under pressure and able to multitask
• An independent thinker who can make decisions that will result in quality work
