Environment:

A fast-paced, innovative investment firm seeks a senior IT security analyst to help implement their information security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must possess a degree or higher in computer science engineering, IT or related field with certifications such as CISSP, CISA, SANS, OCSP & have Cyber incident triage experience and toolsets such as EDR, SIEM and NAC.
Duties:

• Assist in the implementation of the organisation’s information security policies and procedures.
• Work with the firm’s information security team.
• To monitor compliance with the prescribed security policies and procedures and take corrective action where any of these fails. 
• To ensure that appropriate information access levels are maintained.
• Perform information security risk analysis and periodic information system activity reviews for information security processes.
• Serve as an internal information security subject matter expert to the organisation.
• Monitor advancements in information security technologies.
• Monitor changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affect information security.
• Assist as a security consultant with tactical and strategic projects within the firm.

Requirements:

Qualifications –

• Degree or higher in computer science engineering, information technology or equivalent.
• Industry-adopted Security certifications such as: CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, OCSP.

Skills –

• Cyber incident triage.
• Tools such as EDR, SIEM and NAC.

Experience –

• Information Security.
• Previous experience advising and or interacting with senior management.
